We work with clients in the technology industry on matters involving regulatory, transactional, operational and governance concerns on a project basis or as outside general counsel, depending on needs and stage of growth.
When matters outside of our range of expertise arise, we are dedicated to finding the right people both inside and outside of DataTech Law.
We have a wealth of legal contacts to which we can refer matters, including lawyers who have worked at big firms and struck out on their own, and lawyers with strong reputations in their respective fields of practice. We have also successfully partnered with litigators, employment, real estate and other counsel to staff a given matter. Our ability to “look outside” to staff a team gives us the flexibility to find the right person in our network.
Other law firms do not pay us for referrals. We have a policy against accepting payment for referrals. While that practice is ethically permissible, it does not satisfy our standards for putting client service first. Our standard for referrals is that the advisers we refer to will provide value to our clients.
